Valerie Atkinson Kjellberg has been a full-time, professional REALTOR® since 1986 specializing in homes throughout the South Bay. She has gained awards in the 100% Club, Platinum Club and the RE/MAX Hall of Fame.She is also an accredited QSC member and a Palos Verdes Specialist.
Personal Information
A native of England, Valerie has also lived in Spain. In fact, Spain is where she began selling real estate! Valerie has the kind of international real estate experience that is hard to find but invaluable in understanding the complexities of real estate transactions in California. Now a resident of Rolling Hills Estates, Valerie has lived here for the past 25 years.
Valerie came to real estate from a successful career in financial planning, limited partnerships and developments. She applies the same kind of attention to detail required of that career to her transactions today, making her not only extremely knowledgeable but very meticulous in her business. It is these qualities, combined with her love of real estate, that makes Valerie one of the South Bay's favorite real estate professionals.
When not serving her clients, Valerie enjoys travel, entertaining and gardening.

Valerie's goal in every transaction is simply stated but achieved only through years of experience: to make her clients happy. "I always keep my client's best interest in the front of my mind," explains Valerie. "No matter what they need, from professional advice to watering the yard while they are gone, I will see that they get it," she says. One of the reasons that Valerie is so eager to please her clients is that she genuinely enjoys doing that. "I think that I'm in one of the best professions in the world," Valerie says. "Every day I'm allowed to participate in making dreams come true. A person's home is one of the most important and personal purchases they will ever make. It affects their lives in many ways. I've never lost the thrill of watching a first-time buyer take possession of their new home!"
